It is designed to optimise facial features and create an expressive face. The kit contains powders in three colour shades that open up a wealth of possibilities for shaping the face. The contouring palette also comes with a mirror and brush.
Contours and accents for an expressive face
Three colour shades, three different functions in the contouring process: the darkest shade is applied first. Along the chin and cheekbones as well as on the sides of the bridge of the nose, it creates a narrower face. The second step is to use the medium colour. It gives the complexion more warmth and can be applied to different areas of the face. This effect is particularly effective on larger areas such as the forehead or cheeks. The third step is for the highlights. The lightest shade is suitable for this. It can be used to emphasise the highest points of the face. The three powders in the Step-by-Step Contour Kit from smashbox have light to medium coverage. They are suitable for all skin types. To ensure good skin compatibility, the make-up is free from alcohol, acetone, ammonia, sulphates and allergenic substances.Use
STEP 1: CONTOURStart with the Contour colour, the darkest shade in the palette. Use the Contour Brush included and apply the Contour colour to the sides of the bridge of the nose, along the chin and below the cheekbones - your face will immediately look narrower.STEP 2: BRONZENow use the Bronzer colour, the middle shade of the palette. Apply this to the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead with the narrow side of the Contour Brush to add warmth to the complexion.STEP 3: HIGHLIGHTPerfect the look with the Highlight colour, the lightest shade in the palette. Use the tip of the contour brush and apply some highlighter to the bridge of the nose, cupid's bow and above the brows and cheekbones to emphasise the highest points of the face.
