The brush itself is far too small to apply mascara properly and create volume or length. I had to use an extra brush to spread the mascara better and fan out the lashes. But when it comes to the mascara not smudging or causing "panda eyes", I have yet to find anything better on the market!!! Whether it's humidity, sweaty activities or a little afternoon nap, the mascara holds and stays where it should. The 10ml version has a better brush with which you can apply the mascara better.
