Primavera organic sandalwood essential oil (botanical name: Santalum album) is characterised by an extraordinary and intense fragrance with woody, warm and balsamic notes. It has a relaxing and balancing effect in cases of exhaustion or stress and promotes inspiration. Thanks to the warming heart base note, it also has regenerating and skin-soothing properties, for example for acne or neurodermatitis. As the sandalwood tree is an endangered plant that is threatened with extinction worldwide, sustainable and careful handling of these trees is of great importance. The sandalwood trees for Primavera's sandalwood oil grow on a plantation in India in a controlled organic cultivation area, where new trees are regularly planted.
Organic essential oils for many areas of application
A typical sandalwood note usually only requires a hint of the essential oil, so it makes sense to use the fragrances sparingly for ecological and cost reasons.
