What it is:

A sun cream that provides broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and helps prevent free radical damage and oxidation.

What the formulation does:

Umbra Sheer™ is an everyday sunscreen enriched with powerful antioxidants such as astaxanthin, grape juice and sunflower sprout extracts to minimise the appearance of photo-ageing for a more youthful complexion. Infused with raspberry seed and marula oils, Umbra Sheer™ delivers essential hydration and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for skin that appears healthy and nourished. This unique formulation is ideal for daily use without leaving a white residue or shine. Umbra Sheer™ is suitable for everyone, including sensitive skin.

What else you need to know:

It is very difficult to formulate a sunscreen without chemical filters or silicones, but we have managed to do just that. Umbra Sheer™ does not contain these chemicals as they can cause irritation and are not as beneficial to the skin as the naturally derived physical alternative we use, zinc oxide.

Most important ingredients:

Sunflower seed extract - a powerful ingredient that neutralises free radicals and has strong anti-glycation properties.
Astaxanthin-rich algae extract - a carotenoid with strong antioxidant properties that protects against oxidative damage.
Raspberry seed oil - antioxidant properties protect against harmful environmental influences.
Native marula oil - easily absorbed oil, rich in important antioxidants and omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, nourishes and rejuvenates the skin.
Aloe vera leaf extract moisturises and soothes the skin.
Grape juice extract has natural antimicrobial and antioxidant properties and acts as natural protection against free radicals; is naturally soothing and reduces redness.
