The shampoo comes in a well-designed tube and is not transparent, but brownish in colour and has a consistency similar to healing clay. Nevertheless, it foams excellently and only a small amount is needed. My long but fine dry curls shine and fall very well, no frizz, additional care is of course always a must with long hair. It doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it greasy, and my very sensitive scalp tolerates it perfectly. The fragrance is very intense, I find it floral, woody and heavy, you have to like that, the aromatic, ethereal fragrances seem to be Aveda's speciality.
